The Purpose of a CV
A CV shows a potential employer a snap shot of you; it is used to demonstrate your personal skills, experience, qualifications and achievements which will be of benefit to the company and the role. It is not there to show your social habits or detailed life story. Keep it simple, do not leave gaps which could leave the reader guessing what you were up to, if you took time out for example to travel do include this on your CV.
