RedPepper Recruitment is a Manchester based Recruitment Company; we place sales and recruitment professionals into permanent roles across Greater Manchester and the North West. We’re based in 5star offices in the heart of Manchester City Centre and we are looking for experienced sales people to work for us, and embark on a career in recruitment.
The Recruitment Industry is a huge multi £billion industry, and 2010 is gaining momentum fast, the market is buoyant again with high demand for good candidates.
It’s an exciting time for us and we are looking to expand by hiring a bright, talented graduate with 12months+ business to business sales experience. It’s a great opportunity to move into a career in recruitment, we’re very busy so the role will be demanding but also very rewarding. You’ll undergo intensive training from the start, both on the job and also through bespoke recruitment training courses, your role will develop through the ranks and you’ll have the capacity to start earning commission right from the start.
The Right Person
You’ll be a graduate or of similar calibre, and will have worked in a Client facing role, selling a product, service or solution to businesses, either in a field sales, telesales or internal sales role. It is essential that you have B2B sales experience, have proven ability at hitting targets and working in a structured sales environment.
You’ll need excellent communication skills on the phone, face to face and written and will be used to juggling lots of tasks at once, with the initiative to prioritise your daily activities to ensure you get the most out of each day.
You’ll be used to chasing down leads, negotiating to close a deal over the phone and will have the determination and tenacity to keep going until you get the right results.
A main part of your role is relationship building, and you’ll need to demonstrate that you have dealt with senior level decision makers, that you can have intelligent conversations, gleaning important information for future reference and can build rapport for a rewarding and lasting relationship.
The Role
You’ll join as a trainee recruitment consultant and will shadow the existing team, undergoing bespoke training modules to ensure you learn all the elements involved in the complete recruitment process, and with time will become a fully fledged recruitment consultant with your own portfolio of accounts.
Our market is candidate led and we are constantly working on new roles; due to demand the turnaround on interviews and placements is extremely fast, so it doesn’t take consultants long to earn some juicy commission!
